So I’ve recently jumped onto the Entourage wagon, and am amazed that it took me this long to start watching! It took me all of a few minutes into the first episode of season 1 to become well and truly hooked – everything about it, from the hilarious dialogue, brilliant storylines, celeb appearances and kick-ass soundtrack, all the way through to gorgeous Vincent, sweet Eric, neurotic Johnny Drama, stoner Turtle and of course, the beyond legendary Ari Gold.

Adrian Grenier (who plays Vincent) reminds me so much of the boys I used to know back in the day – something so yummy about that scruffy, blue-eyed, easy going hot mess… even with the terrible hair and even more awful fashion sense. Also love how Vince is super zen-like. Interestingly enough, the show is actually based on Mark Wahlberg’s early days in Hollywood, and every character is taken from a real life person in his life. Yup, even Ari Gold!

While I am thrilled to see Spain beat out Germany, without a doubt the biggest winner of this whole damn event (well, other than FIFA of course) has got to be Paul the Octopus, who has risen to fame with his spot on predictions for the German games. Tonight was Paul’s sixth correct prediction, despite being based at an aquarium in Germany. While some Germans hoped that Paul was trying to lure the Spanish into a false sense of security, Paul doesn’t mess about – he knows his shiz!

British by birth, this psychic calamari is also on Peta’s radar and the animal rights groups have all been lobbying to get Paul released. The fact that he hatched in an aquarium and has never had to forage for food in his life is something they seem to have missed, but anyway – now Paul is famous, he will hopefully get an uber pimped out tank. That is, unless he isn’t battered and deep fried for turning traitor against the Germans!

So how does he do it exactly? It’s pretty oracle like – when his trainers present him with food boxes marked with flags, Paul takes a moment before selecting one. So far, without fail this World Cup, he has managed to pick the winning team.

What I’m wondering is if he can only predict German wins/losses, or if he can tell us if Spain will take it to the max on Sunday and kick some orange butt?

This is seriously one of the best things I’ve seen in ages… Monthy Python’s famous killer rabbit scene from the Holy Grail, set to Moloko’s Killa Bunnies!

As a big Moloko fan and someone who was raised on the Pythons and their particularly hilarious and silly humour, this really is the bee’s knees. It makes me wish I still had Holy Grail on DVD, suddenly in the mood for silly English kiniggets and knights who say ‘nii’ and servants with coconut halves called Patsy.

I had a good laugh at this little gem in my junk folder today – nothing funnier than badly written spam. A for effort anyway!

You know that you can count on I Can Has Cheezburger to lighten things up. This one is especially cool due to a long-standing fascination for pink flamingos, man I love those things.

In other news, I am making a monumental effort to get a grip and not ruin the festive season.

I’m a sucker for cool PSA’s and cartoon Gorillaz style ones with lots of swear words and gangsta rap sound tracks really take the cake. This is possibly one of the coolest things I have seen lately, and will be stuck in my head for a while I reckon.

It’s like a hip hop music video… with a purpose yo.

There are many reasons why I love Dlisted.com, and this dude is one of them. Aptly named the ‘Dollhouse Dude‘, this awesome character patrols around Hollywood, and is a noted bystander seen outside the courtroom in some of Britney ‘former trainwreck’ Spears’ trials.

I have seen it all here in Cape Town, including a man with implants (don’t ask) but I have never seen anyone with a dollhouse strapped to their head, it’s quite incredible.
