Smokin’
I was watching Heroes last night, and yet again couldn’t help rooting for uber villain Sylar. As far as baddies go, he’s pretty bad – slicing heroes heads open to steal their powers isn’t exactly good manners. Nevertheless, I am finding more and more that he is one of my favourites on the show, and for a number of reasons.
Top reasons that make Sylar the hottest baddie of them all:
1. He’s funny. Nothing is sexier than a deadpan, dry sense of humour, and with a hint of a smirk and a raise of the eyebrows, even murder and mayhem seem less awful. Well, on tv anyway!
2. He has super powers. Sure they are all hijacked from other former heroes, but still. He is like uber hero, except of course he’s more uber villain. Whatever the case, it’s fun watching the agency peeps try and take him out.
3. He has a soft side. From his sad past to his moments of lapsed badassness, clearly there is some conscience buried in there somewhere.
4. He’s a classic nerd to hottie transformation example. From geeky watchmaker to sexy bad guy, even his hair improved once he went badass.
5. He nearly always wins. There’s something to be said for coming out on tops almost all the time, guess you just can’t keep a good villain down.
Besides, since Peter’s hair went back to floppy he just hasn’t been the same and quite honestly there isn’t much eye-candy left on Heroes anymore. So I will continue to perve over Sylar a bit, bad guy or not, hehe.
OH MY GOD I was thinking exactly the same thing recently, at first I wasn’t a fan but this season something changed, especially during Tuesday’s episode with the shape shifter I was like oooo he’s hot. Weird huh
Me too – also that episode, weirdest thing, hehe.
I think it’s the hair, and he’s dressing better, lol.
