Today…

* I don’t think I have been this tired in a long time, it seems to accumulate each day
* Almost everyone seems to be on leave already – I still have two days to go
* I included the ex on my virtual Christmas card list… and didn’t take it personally when he didn’t reply
* I finally got some clarity on my plans for the year ahead, and set some things into motion
* I realised that you can take the deadline away from the workaholic, but you can’t take the workaholic away from the work
* I did some Christmas shopping, two for them, five for me!
* I was lucky enough to get a gorgeous Butler’s pizza boy
* I realised a few slices in that pizza and junk just isn’t doing it much for me anymore
* I have been feeling content and kinda chilled… at one with the world and all that jazz
* I wrote so much that my wrists and fingers are still feeling the burn

This will probably be my last post until after Christmas, and maybe til next year. I am just too damn tired and apathetic to bother with a 2009 review – quite honestly, it’s been a mad year and not all in a good way! Lost jobs, new jobs, flings, relationships, breakups, Patron, deadlines, cat relocations and Long Street… two thousand and wine is now finally on it’s last legs. I’m ready to bring on 2010 already!

My sister arrives tomorrow afternoon, and while I still have a couple of days of work, I plan to fit in some balcony chillax at some stage before enjoying the Christmas mayhem – can’t wait. Sigh…
