Lindt Touch of Sea Salt: A new level of epic

Yesterday’s warm and muggy weather has given way to dark clouds and a bit of a bite in the air, but it’s Saturday and the sun is doing its best to shine through the gloom. I’ve had a good morning, following an amazingly busy but fabulously frivolous Friday, and I am not going to let anything ruin my good zen!

Current happy thoughts…

* A slightly dreary Friday ended on a great note with after work drinks at Hood with DT. Despite the place being a madhouse and having to wait for ages for our drinks, a couple of Patron was just what I needed to get my weekend started!

* After Hood, I dashed over the road to Zula to meet a friend for a delicious non-round pizza. These pizzas are famous and utterly divine… even if I couldn’t finish mine. A Savanna or two was enjoyed, and then it was time to dash home again…

* The boy fetched me at 10pm for a late night surprise date. It turned out to be bubbly at Planet Bar, with a bit of a wander in the gardens to the pool, where I came across a very sweet message in a bottle. He really is quite amazing like that, loves to surprise!

* I spent some much-needed quality time with the cats this morning. Both under the duvet on either side of me as I snoozed… really going to miss lazy mornings like that, phew.

* A mid-morning mission down Long Street took me past my favourite shop WAG. They were having a sale, so I couldn’t resist a beautiful black satin beaded dress – just what I need for Deco tonight.

* The boy met me at Lola’s for coffee. And then he kindly came with me to Wildfire to book my next tattoo. I’m going on Tuesday at lunchtime, it’s going to be awesome!

* Tonight will be about cheap drinks, bad 80′s rock and good company. Deco Dance is a special place indeed, almost impossible to not feel the zen with all that Roxette, disco lights and bad tequila!

But for now, I need to make some lunch and watch some awful daytime television on my comfortable couch!
