Sea Point promenade: awesome
Today was a lovely day in what has turned out to be a really good weekend. After a good morning cycle session on my exercise bike, I was picked up around 11am to head out to Sea Point for brunch (and some divine strawberry juice) and then a stroll along the promenade.
As anyone who knows the area can attest, the promenade is truly one of the nicest places to be on a nice day. Joggers, families, dogs of all sizes, and water sport enthusiasts were all out and about – including a very brave surfer getting trashed on some epic waves. Sitting on a bench, talking and smiling for ages was really an awesome way to spend a few hours.
After I got home I couldn’t resist a nap – haven’t had one in ages, it was great! And I woke up feeling rested and seriously chilled out… just the right state for a Sunday evening on the couch. A pizza and Magnum Almond later and I am ready to wind down this fabulous weekend.
So bring on this next week, lots to look forward to.
Great picture. I miss that place.
I love Sea Point – but i live there, so im biased.

It’s one of my favourite place – always cheerful and relaxing!
Wish I could claim credit for the pic btw, but it’s from AfricaPic.com. Love the ‘painting’ style, so pretty!
