Spread the Love – Blogging for Good!

As anyone who’s been reading this blog for long enough knows, I have a bit of a soft spot for the underdog. Whether it’s animals in need or kids fighting for a chance in life, I truly believe that it’s the ones who have the least power who need the most help.

One of the most heartbreaking things for me is to see the kids I’ve known for over 6 years fall deeper and deeper into a tough life on the streets – and know that they may never have a chance to live a better life.

We see them every day, scruffy and not always very lovable – but underneath that tough exterior is a child who deserves better. These kids are doing their best to avoid the shelters because they’re scared and suspicious. While most are not criminals yet, each year they stay out there, the closer they get to a life of crime and violence… if they make it to their 18th birthday that is.

We have the power to help street children in Cape Town break this cycle and have a chance at a real life…

The Hardened Street Child Care Plan helps kids find their way off the streets – supporting this cause could change a child’s life!

Here’s How You Can Make A Difference:

1. Download a banner or badge to display on your website
2. Make a donation (no matter how small!) to the Hardened Street Child Care Plan
3. Join the Spread the Love Facebook group and spread the word to friends and family

It takes just a few minutes to make a difference, and together we can work as a community to save those who need us the most.

Join the cause now and help our children have the better lives they deserve!
