It’s been a long day and I am not feeling all that chipper. My morning meeting was moved forward, so I had a bit of a panic getting everything sorted, including basics like getting dressed. Then been busy ever since, and my shop mission was not aided by this stupid knee – walking up my hill is not fun on the best of days, so today it was really not cool.
I have decided to be kind to myself this week, despite the fact that I can’t do much exercise I am still boldly enjoying a croissant for lunch and veggies rings from Spar. Somehow I just don’t care… when you’re having a not-too-perfect week then you need comfort. At least I have been drinking lots of water and green tea, so it’s not ALL bad.
I am very relieved that my my afternoon meeting has been moved to tomorrow – just want to finish up and hit the couch so I can put my leg up and zone out for a while.

Oh what are the chances Rox… I just found FU Penguin for the first time today. And I laughed. Hard. But then this evening, I was telling Werner about it and then I REALLY laughed. I guess trying to explain the hilarity of it only highlights the absurdity. Love it!
