Today is Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page’s 65th birthday, and so it is only fitting that I play out the day with my all time favourte Led Zep song Tangerine.
Just a few things about this song, it’s been one of my favourite songs since I was a teenager and my dad can play it perfectly on guitar. I used to love doing the vocals when he played, and this song also had very special meaning for the first time I fell properly in love when I was 16. It’s a beautiful, sweet song and it brings back some hectic memories indeed.
So it’s a very special song to me, and a totally fitting way to celebrate this rock icon’s birthday – enjoy and Happy Friday!
