Yes, those are Easter eggs; and no, I don’t care that it’s not Easter
The weather in Cape Town may be a bit funny, but it’s still Friday and after one of the craziest and longest weeks in months, I am so glad that the end is in sight! It’s set to be a working weekend, but tonight at least I will be able to have a break and relax for a bit – can’t wait.
Here are some of my reasons to smile today…
1. Things are picking up this week, and so far all the opportunities which have arisen have been freelance (phew!)
2. The lovely DT and I are planning a very special event in the next month or so, which is looking to be a pretty exciting thing indeed – watch this space!
3. We’re having a ‘wing it Friday’ night this evening, which means we’re just going to see where the wind takes us, can’t wait
4. This weird rain and gloom in Cape Town seems to be lifting, hopefully it will be clear by tonight
5. I have had a very productive week, and gotten loads of stuff done… even if it means exhausting and long hours all week
I could probably think of more, but the alarm that’s been going off outside my flat for the last hour is finally starting to get to me. I am going to have some coffee now, then I have to do some errands and come back for lunch and a bit more work, then finally I can relax a bit.
Hope everyone is having an awesome Friday so far!
I can’t wait! We really do need to have some sober organisational time!
Well done and congrats – you are coming to the end of a productive, money making week!!
Yay for both of us – and double yay for me, when I went back to swap the navy dress they had coral PINK ones!!
gosh this event sounds intriguing… what are you guys up to?
Well, it’s a benefit – more will be revealed soon, but for now I will say that it’s a good cause and something close to my heart.
