Two Thousand And Wine

Living La Vida Lipstick (with bubbles!)

So now that we’re a whole 5 days into the new year, and all the resolutions have had time to settle, I’ve been thinking about what I want out of this year, and what I want to achieve.

Aside from a few tasks that I want to complete, on personal levels mostly, and a general idea of the direction I’m headed, I really don’t want to plan anything. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of taking this year and running with it… wherever it goes. Something I discovered at the end of last year was how much I miss going out and having unplanned fun, and just enjoying life in the beautiful city. There is so much to enjoy here, from the West Coast to Boulders, and as residents we waste countless opportunities to enjoy this city.

Life is for living, and after all the stresses, heartaches, huge life-changing decisions, hard work and panic the last two years, I want this year to be about working hard AND playing hard… and I want to make the most of every minute.

So here’s to two thousand and wine, and living la vida lipstick. Just as long as I stay away from Jaeger-Bombs, I think this year will be just fine!
