Pizza: because diets are made to be broken
I used to have a lot of me time, until things started getting a bit insane in my life. This past weekend things have really been good, I’ve had loads of fun and been treated like a princess, and it rocks bigtime.
At the same time, when I got back from Lola’s just now I was really looking forward to some me time on the couch, with some yummy Butler’s pizza which should arrive soon, some television, cats, coffee and some painkillers for my buggered knee. Just to process the last few days, and re-charge my energy levels.
My gran just called, she says the Miss South Africa thing is on tonight – that should be a good laugh, beauty pageants are classic.
And here I was wondering just who watches beauty pageants nowadays…
Hehehe, as it was my poor over-tired brain couldn’t manage to flip channels so I mindlessly watched silly comedy on sabc 3 until I couldn’t focus anymore.
And then got sms’s telling me to get to Long Street, was having any of that though – it was so good to just sleep properly!!
I miss watching Miss SA with the family, for some reason we actually enjoyed it back then. Somehow I dont think i could sit through it now
I also have fond memories – seeing all the outfits and whatnot appealed to my pre-adolescent self, hehe.
my family told me mz Russia won.
that she had long legs and wasn’t a brunette.
i said a serbian girl told me that her father would slip into moscow in those cold war days for romantic weekends – and he said that you never have been loved until you’ve been loved by a russian woman…then the conversation went in a completely different direction…
