An unsuspecting Tiger having a good snooze
My cats hate me, and will be avoiding me for the rest of the day. All because I de-flead them, the ungrateful buggers.
Tiger is usually the most freaked out by stuff like this, so I cleverly thought I would surprise him while he was sleeping. As it turns out, he only struggled a bit when he realised what was happening. Sonic on the other hand, took one look at the Advantage tube in my hand, and bolted. I shut him into the bathroom, and managed to get a towel over him to quickly squeeze the flea stuff onto the back of his neck, but he suddenly jumped up and got away. Finally managed to hold him down on the bathmat and finish de-fleaing him, but not before he had wacked his Advantage-soaked neck and head into my face and gotten the stuff all over my lips (which was also a bit sore I might add, having a cat headbutt you like that).
Stupid animals are now making themselves scare and run away every time I even glance in their direction. Like they weren’t kicking themselves in the head and getting annoyed by the new batch of fleas before I stepped in and saved their sorry asses, sheesh.
I guess cats aren’t known for their nice natures though, so go figure.
I tried defleaing Tigger once and she then unexpectedly showed me that she can twist her head round to unbelievable angles whilst twisting her skin the other way. She can actually lick the back of her own head almost. And she got really really sick from the stuff, so I am never doing that again. Luckily she doesn’t seem to have any at the moment…
Hehehe, they can be wriggly buggers when they need to be hey.
Tiger is too fat to reach that far, Sonic hasn’t figured out that he can lick it off. Sonic has been kicking a bit again, and they both have very thick fur which gets a bit itchy in this hot weather so have to dose them every few months.
Both have forgiven me now at least, still getting a few dirty looks when I approach them though, hehe.
