I couldn’t decide what was mopier, the 90’s Boys II Men classic Water Runs Dry, or The Cure’s Kyoto Song.

This acoustic jamming session of Water Runs Dry is awesome – and as for this song… oh, what memories it brings back. Nothing like high school slow songs when it comes to mope music.

Then on the darker, moodier side we have The Cure, with their morbid classic, Kyoto Song. I am a massive fan of The Cure, and I love the dark sexy songs that drag you into your mood. The lyrics are also beautiful, and the beats rock.

From cheese to goth, mope music all the way baby. And in other news, I hate you-tube for killing my bandwidth with the allure of cheese and mope songs.
