Um… what was I saying again?
The utterly gorgeous and talented Gael Garcia Bernal celebrates his big three oh today, and I have no doubt in my mind that he will be another one of the ‘improves with age’ brigade.
I could tell he was one to watch as soon as I saw him in Y tu mamá también. Diego Luna isn’t bad either, but it was Gael’s brooding looks and perfect bone structure that won him a firm place in the ‘hotties to watch’ list world-wide.
He isn’t just hot though, he’s also a damn fine actor. In Motorcycle Diaries he played the young icon-to-be Che Guevara perfectly, and critics were just as impressed as female fans.
Happy birthday Senor Garcia Bernal – may you improve with age like a damn fine bottle of good wine.
Ah yes. Thankfully he seems to be the most prolific Mexican in all mainstream movies
