		<description>I was pretty relieved to see the Beyond Paradise in the good list too. 

Even though I was raised to be an activist tree and bunny hugger, even I had a battle of conscience years ago just before I really discovered Peta and got into my own animal rights vibe. 

I still remember when I discovered the Escape was tested on animals, I wanted to be sure so I cross-checked and that was how I found the Peta website. That moment of &#039;eish, what I am going to do with this info&#039; was pretty profound but once I got past that, it was much easier. 

The worst thing is that it can be so hard to find decent cruelty-free product ranges in South Africa - in the US and Europe there are lot more options but here it&#039;s somewhat limited. Still, once you know more about what NOT to get, it&#039;s easier to find alternatives.</description>
