I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately, since Friday I’ve been feeling so zoned out and fidgety. Then as soon as I get into my work, I am fine.
I haven’t been getting up and running or cycling, and have been only been doing fitness stuff later in the day, so maybe that’s it. I don’t know, sometimes freelancing gets a bit weird on the time-front. Tuesdays are deadline days, so those days are at least normal, but generally other days are the same as weekends, and day or night is also pretty much the same.
Anyway, in between bouts of productiveness I have been totally avoiding my horror but I have however been reading a lot of NLP technique articles. This is something I have been interested in for many years, and have already learned quite a few good patterns, but it’s one of those things you really have to focus on and it’s a bit tiring.
Nevertheless, NLP is a very valuable thing to know – in any situation. Communication is so much more than emails, blogs and talking, and often the most basic of all mediums, ie. body language, is over-looked.
It is possible to come as close to mind reading as you will ever get, by learning how people think and knowing how to read subtle signs such as eye movement, hand movement, predicates and more. It is also possible to ‘tune in’ to their thought waves and very subtly influence them.
It takes a long time to be able to put these skills to use easily, but with practice, patience and time we can understand our own thought patterns as well as others.
Gripping stuff, and once I manage to condition myself to focus and get my time issues sorted, I’ll be ready to move on to world domination.
