Ponies gone wild

I laughed so hard when I came across this story on dlisted.com about a drunk pony who fell into a pool after partying on cider apples – this is a fairly common thing to happen in the UK farming areas, but you don’t often get to see pics.

12 year old Fat Boy escaped from Trenance Riding Stables in Newquay, Cornwall, and broke into a nearby garden. After getting himself extremely drunk, he accidentally fell into a swimming pool in the garden and couldn’t get out. The owner of the garden and pool eventually heard Fat Boy’s drunken splashes and had to call the fire brigade and cops to get him out.

The picture above just says it all, that pony looks trashed! Luckily he’s fine and no harm done, but what a classic story it makes.
