I was sitting watching the news earlier, with Sonic on my lap, on top of the microwave huggie, hogging all the warm and purring his head off, and it just really made me think that no matter how annoying they can be, my cats are just so awesome!
Sonic
I used to think Sonic was a small kitteh, until I saw how tiny the cats on my sister’s farm and many other places are. Still, compared to his brother, he’s fairly small. He loves to be picked up, and sitting on laps, he jumps on top of doors, chills on the fridge (no pun intended) and on top of cupboards (especially the one in my bedroom where my christmas tree is kept in a black bag which he likes to get into and make a mess), he doesn’t really like toys but has a thing for jumping. He loves brooms, especially when they are being used. He also has a big thing for the scratch post thing, which he goes crazy on, it’s lank funny. He used to kick his head open hectically and spent a large portion of his early life at the vet due to this, but now he’s fine, even if a bit weird.
Tiger
Tiger is big, fat and healthy, and got his name from the stripe down his nose as well as the faint hidden tiger stripes he had as a tiny kitten. He loves attention, and jumps up on people when they come to visit – just like a dog, except his claws are like tiny pins. He hates it when I am on the phone, and will do anything to divert my attention, including clawing me, knocking stuff over next to me and rubbing against my feet and / or licking me. He’s the baby of the two, and even as a kitten used to stay inside the house and call Sonic when we let them out. He’s scared of vacuums, nail clippers and flea medication, and loves toys – any toys, including hair bands, pens, cellphones and anything else he knocks off tables or dressers. He’s very cuddly when he keeps still, and is so fat that if he falls off things (which he does quite a lot) he lands gently and rolls.

Hehe, ja – they’re cool.
Not so cute last night when Sonic was licking himself on top of the cupboard when I was trying to sleep, but he got off when I threw something at him, lol.
