I’m Loving… Isidingo

Sthembiso Shezi, the man giving Barker a run for his money

I have been an Isidingo fan for a long time, and have seen the show go through all sorts of hectic dramas and changes. From the days of the gorgeous Kyle to it’s current stage of Barker’s fall from greatness, the show never loses its intense story lines, top rate acting and of course its twists and turns…

Since the arrival of Sthembiso Shezi, the hot shop NPA dude with no scruples and a charming Brit accent, the show has gotten even better – this dude will stop at nothing to bring down the great Barker Haines, and does with flair too.

I am the first to admit that I have a shameless love for soapies (I draw the line and Days of our Lives, and gave up on Bold years back, but I do sometimes need a Young and the Restless fix)… but Isidingo is by far the best soapie on any level, and kicks the American soaps into oblivion with its sharp dialogs, brilliant plots and ‘real’ angle that sees characters deal with real issues and of course their coolest trick is to be in ‘real time’ and have the characters discuss current events.

No one can rant about SA shows being below standard when it comes to Isidingo, that’s for sure!

so i guess there’s not point in trying to make chit-chat with you now that isidingo is on…”what was that? sorry, you were saying…”

Hahaha, the funny thing is that I missed it tonight as I had to make a mission to collect a bed I brought from a friend.

Oh well, always the re-run tomorrow… gotta love working from home! :-)

  3. 302 says:

laugh all you want but i so feel your pain working from home in this weather.

that open plan office is calling let me go and indulge it.

…no that was thunder or the wind not another sigh.

  4. Rox says:

Damn this weather – I have someone coming for tea a bit later this morning, and I don’t have any biscuits and not much milk left… and it’s raining.

Oh what the hell, I may as well put on my flamingo wellies and a hoodie and go to the shop.

P.S. What was that, did I hear another sigh?

  5. 302 says:

if i sighed again people reading this will probably think constipation so no i’m just getting on with weather and all.

    man up et al

  6. Rox says:

Yes, man up your weather tolerence.

I just did – I braved the rain sans proper raincoat (I did have my wellies though)… all in the name of milk and biscuits I tell you.
