Well, this particular couch devotee anyway, who has to rely on free TV because that’s all I have right now.
Anyway. So, I got extremely happy a few weeks ago when I realised that SABC 3 had brought back The O.C (which is possibly my all-time favourite TV show ever, I don’t care if it’s about spoilt, rich teenagers, I love it anyway)… but on a random weeknight after the late news. The next week, it was on a different night, but same time slot, and since then it’s been pretty random, and sometimes two in a row, but what the hell – as long as I check the TV guide, I won’t miss it.
That was very nice of SABC 3 (even if they lost a few points by changing the days around all the time), and I was stoked.
Then today I happened to catch an ad on ETV for… wait for it… America’s Next Top Model! This is one of the best reality shows EVER, and not only does it have Marvelous Manly Man Nigel Barker as one of the judges, but every episode is packed with model madness, hysterics, cat fights and Miss J Alexander. It doesn’t get better than that, and Tuesday’s just haven’t been the same without ANTM.
So, not one but two of my favourite shows have come back on – so couch time has been restored to its former glory once again.
Now if ETV could just stop messing up the Silk Stalkings episode orders, I would really be in veg out bliss.
Oh how I love this program! I watched an episode on channel Go, I think it was, very old school episode, but awesome none-the-less. I didn’t realise it was howing on SABC, this is great news, thanks for posting Rox!
SABC 3 seem to be showing it on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays around 10h15 (or after the late news) – but some weeks they show just one or two a week, it’s a bit wack.
They’re on season 2 at the moment, when that ends expect to wait about a year for the next one!
Bugger SABC, I am totally adding the complete O.C DVD box set to my Christmas list this year, lol.

Season 2, that’s wicked, nothing like going back and watching through the seasons again. I’ve been watching the new One Tree Hill episodes, really love this series as well

I haven’t watched One Tree Hill, maybe when I eventually get around to getting DSTV Compact as I’ve so often thought of doing.
Box sets are the shiz – I can watch all of them in a few marathon sessions, and can also rewatch my favourites.
Ah babe, you really should, it’s fantastic! Dare I say this.. I’ve cried on more than one occasion *eeek* Ye, would love DSTV my side, just can’t justify the cost vs the time I spend watching tele.
There’s nothing better than starting a series and sitting for 16 hours straight just vegging!
