I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Training Day is the most awesome cop movie ever.
I have a thing for cop movies, cop shows too actually. I don’t know what it is, but I never get tired of all that hot macho pohleesman stuff. Maybe it satisfies my belief in justice, because in the movies, things always end up right. Or maybe I just like to see hot guys with badges and handcuffs running around kicking ass and taking numbers, hard to tell really.
Anyway, so Training Day was on TV again tonight, and it was just as good the second time round. If Denzel Washington’s Oscar winning performance doesn’t blow you away, Ethan Hawke and his gorgeousness and awesome do-gooder character will do the trick. He was tipped for a Best Supporting Oscar for this too, and not just for looking pretty.
All in all, a damn good movie – and it even has Dr. Dre and Snoop in it as an added bonus!
