Sharks: not sleeping
I watched Deep Blue Sea last night and man, I haven’t enjoyed a movie this much in ages! From Thomas Jane in a wetsuit to Samuel L Jackson getting eaten mid-rant, and the explosive ending… it was just too classic for words.
Go LL, Go LL, Go, Go, Go LL…
Of course the real star of the show was LL Cool J, and his talking parrot. One of the best scenes is when he climbs into an oven to get away from a shark, and the shark accidentally-on-purpose turns the oven on. He manages to get out by hacking the ceiling of the oven open to climb up to the cupboard above, and jumps down over the shark – priceless!
Crazy scientists: tasty but not ready to be food
The ‘femme fatale’ of the movie has a few classic moments, one of which sees her strip down to her lingerie and stand on her wetsuit, then grab a live cable and shock the hell of the approaching shark. Seeing as how the silly cow was the reason they were all in that predicament in the first place, it was the least she could do to do a bit of damage control.
Ok I admit, the REAL star of the movie is actually LL Cool J’s sound track, not his character. Deepest Bluest is probably one of the best songs you will hear from LL, and the lyrics are priceless…
‘My hat is like a fin’, sjoe… this song is too classic for words! I really love LL long time though, right back from his cheesy early days, so I was totally rooting for him throughout the whole movie.
I have to own this one on DVD, can’t wait to watch it again!

Shocker with Samuel L Jackson getting swallowed so early in the movie hahaha… erm that is about all I remember and … of course … shitting myself… I am a bit of a wooos with movies like these hahaha
I think you should write something about whether to shag or not to shag…and whether or not guys think chicks are hard work if they dont put out!!!
And whether or not having a strong personality puts guys off and or whether chicks should be meak and mild or hardcore…
