What a glorious evening for a run… clear skies with a few clouds over the mountain, crisp air, lovely winter sunset, good tunes, good company, nice friendly vibe in the city bowl… everything was just right.
Here are my top running tunes this week:
1. Limp Bizkit – Creamer (Radio is Dead)
2. Jay-Z – Can I Get a Fuck You
3. Fat Joe & Ashanti – What’s Luv
4. Misteeq – Scandalous
5. Beastie Boys – Sabotage
And, just because it rounds off my zenned out chillaxed mood, here is my favourite track by The Cure – Close To Me. I love this track bigtime, in fact I have it as my ringtone, and the video is brilliant as is all of their videos.

this one would be near the top of my Cure top 10, it’s a very boring video. It was the last cure record I bought, I really loved the title kiss me, kiss me, kiss me.
nostalgia.
I had, well probably still, have the album (vinyl) with close to me, it’s a great album.
But when I think about the Cure, I think about Robert Smith and his cool sneakers, so ahead of his time, he was, and my favourite two tracks: grinding halt and Charlotte Sometimes! and just like heaven of course.
Robert Smith was and is seriously awesome. My sister used to worship him when she was a goth, and we both thought he was just like Neil Gaiman’s Sandman.
Another of my favourites is Night Like This, and Fire In Cairo as well.
