I got tagged by Chris to give 7 interesting facts about me, so here goes…

1. I am a life-long vegetarian, who ate fish for a few months around December to February, then went vegan (I lasted a month, lol) and am now back to being just a regular vegetarian who eats eggs and dairy (free range and organic of course).

2. I play piano, by ear mostly. I can read music if I focus really, really hard, but since I gave it up in Standard 5 I sort of lost my touch. I did manage to get through the first bit of Norwegian Wood though. I do a mean Richard Marx too.

3. I have 6 tattoos, and have to count them in my head when I think how many I have because one of them was continued from another, meaning I have been inked 7 times actually. As anyone who has been inked knows, tattoos are super addictive and once that needle bites, you become a slave to its ink. But that does not mean I want to do full sleeves, all in moderation!

4. I never learnt to ride a bicycle as a child, and efforts by my cousin and high school boyfriends did not help at all. I don’t know if it’s my balance or what, but I still can’t ride the damn things.

5. I almost became a teacher before getting into PR and then copywriting. I was half-way through my second year of Foundation Phase Education degree, and had known by the end of the first year that much as I enjoy dealing with kids, that didn’t mean that teaching was the way forward for me.

6. In my spare offline time, I work on an artwork I am making, which features hearts and of course pink. You’ll have to wait til it’s completed before I say anything else, but it’s something I have been plotting for many years, and have only recently gotten off my ass and got busy on it.

7. I used to be a bit psychic as a child, and had a knack for knowing when people would arrive at our house, even if they weren’t expected. I also saw the ghost of a very good family friend who had died a few days beforehand. I was about two at the time and still remember seeing him very clearly at the front door. I was a weird kid, go figure!

Well, as you can see I’m now a weird grown up. It’s all good though, I like weird.
