So, what started off being chilled geek piss up at Long Street Cafe, ended up being a bit of a party night…

Giggle giggle
Basically, Chris gave me a heads up about the Bloggerati get-together last night, which turned out to be a seriously cool time. I finally got to meet Charl from Zooped Up (after a few years of knowing him online, as it is), plus I also met Jason Bagley, and Rafiq, Tristan, that cheeky photographer Brandon, and a few others. I did not meet the big dudes Vincent Maher or Mathew Buckland, who are actually the Bloggerati originators, but I had loads of fun.
At about 1am or so, Chris and I decided it was time for a change in scenery, so we went up to Carnival Court. This place is one of those hidden treasures of a place on Long, and I’m not saying where it is to keep it that way, lol. We’d hardly finished our drinks when they kicked us out though, so after that we decided to head off to Bronx…

Hello sailor!
Bronx is one of the best places to party – it’s a lot less in your face than Angels, and you can just go and get drunk and shake ass on the dancefloor without giving a shit about anything. Plus, the barman all are topless, and many of them have hot ink, and Chris says that they only hire straight bar staff, so that was a bonus. Chris tried to make me drink a shot of vodka in my Savanna, but I put the smack down and threatened to kick his ass. Sheesh, I could manage ‘turbo hooch’ aka double vodka and Hooch when I was about 20, but with cider?? Hell no! The vibe overall was rocking though, nice tunes, and it was packed enough to be cooking without being as over-crowded as Fiction was, so it was great.
I must have gotten home around 3ish or so, seemed like a few minutes later my alarm was going off, then I had to haul ass to work, meh. It was not fun, but it was worth the killer hangover to have had such a good, relaxing night out.
P.S. I can’t wait to see the photos from Bloggerati – towards the end of the evening Brandon had me doing Zoolander pouts and flashing my ink, it was classic.

Hahahaha, I skipped this part on my blog
~
Was a fantastic evening babe!
hehe, it was great meeting up with you at Bloggerati! Glad you had a good time.
I’m sure we will bump into each other again!
Great to meet you Rox, I enjoyed our conversation. Remember: ‘Hero’ and ‘House of Flying Daggers’
Jason: Totally, sure there’ll be another bash soon.
Tristan: Ta, actually almost forgot about those movies, thanks for the reminder. I’m starting Shaolin on Tuesday, am SO amped! Did you do weapons by the way, I can’t remember if I asked you already?
Ye, was a cool evening. Was nice to meet you and all the other blogger’s. Cheers

[...] Also known as ‘fuck it all Friday’, it was a pretty damn good one. Well, once I had gotten off work that is. After an insanely hectic week, Chris and I decided that letting loose and having a partay was in order, so after preparing ourselves with a few Vodka Red Bulls, we headed off the my new favourite club, Bronx.
