Tabloid fodder indeed

Hectic, just a few hours ago a mate and I were giggling over Britney’s first chart-topper ‘Baby One More Time‘ when I read on Perez that she was in hospital after having her long-anticipated meltdown.

According to reports from CNN, police were called in on Thursday night to assist in a ‘custody dispute’ after Britney refused to take the poor little buggers who are her kids back to daddy-o K-Fed. When the issue got out of hand, six police cars, two ambulances and a fire truck were apparently on the scene, and finally, at about 10h30pm or so, the kids were returned to K-fed. Who, hilariously enough, has emerged from this mess as a model parent, sheesh.

Anyway, after the kids were taken away, poor old Brits was carted off on a stretcher, by all accounts awake but totally out of it, laughing and crying, and generally behaving as loco as she usually has been the last few months. Surprise, surprise, there are rumors that she’s being tested for drugs. Like we didn’t know that, she’s clearly mental and out of it.

Now Britters is on 72-hour suicide watch at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. What a mess hey.
