Viva la cake

This year has honestly had too few ‘wow’ moments to warrant a 2007 review, so instead of bitching about what a kak one and how relieved I am that it’s just about over, I’d rather think about things that I’m looking forward to next year with great glee.

Here are just a few of the reasons I’m amped for 2008…

1. I’m going to be a bridesmaid at one of my best friend’s wedding in February. This is a new thing for me, and it’s pretty cool to be involved with all the wedding-like stuff.

2. My cousin and his girlfriend are having their first baby, a boy, in February. This is the first Great-Grandkid, which gets my gran (who has been desperate for one of us to start producing) of our backs.

3. I have some more good ink plans looming. And no, I am NOT going to run out of skin, nor will I be covered in ink. I only have littles ones to do, nothing as big as the last one.

4. I’ve been running again and am lank amped to get back to Muaythai classes in January. Who knows, 2008 could see me finally getting up to fighters class.

5. I’m going shark cage diving this year, before winter. Don’t know why I haven’t done this already, but I’m so going to do to it soon. Yay.

6. My biggest goal for 2007 is to make lots of money. I don’t care how capitalist that sounds, I’m tired of living on an ordinary scale, it’s time to get this show on the road and take it as far as I can push it.

7. No more drama, bullshit, being treated like shit, boy problems, stress, or anything else that ruins my groove. Just say Hell No.

So, now I can finally kiss this year goodbye (and good riddance!), and drink bubbles til the next one comes out to play. It’s time to throw off my shackles and light the sparklers and bring in a brand new year.

I’m a bit more wary, I’m a little older and a hell of a lot more wiser, I’m stronger, more together and most of all, I’m ready to take on anything and everything the universe has to throw at me. After all, after a year like this one, I can take on anything and kick its ass.
