Aaaaah, there is nothing like idling away a few hours on a hot beach! Like, seriously? It totally rox!
On Sunday me and few friends made a mission out past Gordons Bay to a divine spot just near Kool Baai (which is my favorite beach ever). I think the beach is just known as The Caves, but whatever – it’s an awesome spot and so not like most beaches in Cape Town. By that I mean people go there to surf, swim or chill – not to pose like they generally do on Clifton. Having been kicking ass and developing my 6-pack for the last few months, I was fucking glad to be able to bare some skin… even if it was in dire need of a tan! Hell, that’s what I was there for anyway. I didn’t kick sand in anyone’s face, and managed to behave myself. I got something of a tan, and aside from one or two spots the sun block didn’t reach, I had minimal sunburn. I even had a swim! It was pure and utter bliss ek se.
Oh ja, I also tried some Hake. This may not sound like something to blog home about, but when you consider that I am vegetarian, it’s news baby! I have to say that I wasn’t all that wowed. It tasted like mashed potato, and I don’t eat potato. So much for that, but there you have it. Oh and talking of fish, I get my shark tattoo tomorrow!!! I have finally decided that I will get it on my thigh, so he will be a secret shark. As long as he doesn’t try to bite the hand that feels him, hahahaha!
Kool Baai rocks! We had a fish braai there a few years back, the spot is (as you say) an awesome place to chill…
will the shark be biting any other hands getting near him? is your secret shark guarding your secret garden? is the tattoo guy a gynae as well? lol – ok so you vegetarian, not eating potato’s !?!?!? – you should have tried something better than hake for starters. maybe sushi – mmmmm.
I just got back from getting the shark now, he’s on my right hip. Will he bite the hand that feels him? Hmmm, it depends. The hand will have to be careful1 The tattoo guy is not a gynae, no. Yes, I am a fussy vegetarian, weird huh?! I hear that salmon is nice, I want to try sushi too.

Lekker, give me a buzz. The shark looks so fucking cool – unwrapping it this morning was almost like Christmas! I always sleep badly the night of a tattoo, not only is it uncomfortable sleeping with a moese dressing, I just want to see the damn thing all clean and nice!
Sis on you. Giving vegetarians everywhere a bad name. Fish have feelings too, no matter what Kurt Cobain says.
Thanks D’ave d’earest. I am a bad vegetarian, and need to be punished. I will take away my Def Leppard and think about the fishies.
